Stone Slabs - Sturgeon River Black Granite

*** LEAD TIME ALERT *** Our normal lead time on slabs is 6 to 8 weeks, but larger Sturgeon River Black Granite slabs (6' and up) can require 2 to 3+ month lead time, occasionally even longer. Long slabs require very large blocks from the quarry, and the stone itself (inside the block) must have consistent veining to ensure structural integrity. This often leads to much slower production time. Please call to discuss if you're considering this stone for 6 feet or longer. 

The Sturgeon River Black Granite is a deep rich black color and extremely high quality. Well suited for flagstone, steps, hearths, copings, cobble stones, and many other applications.

Surface Options: Polished (light or heavy for shine), or more commonly done is Flame Treated for texture/character and a rough/natural looking surface.

Polished - We can polish the surface to create a shiny and smooth finish. You'll see the vibrant artistic tones within the stone.

Flame Treated - We use ultra high temperature flame to effectively burn the surface of the stone. This breaks up certain elements of the stone, leaving behind a textured surface, that creates a truly unique and mesmerizing show-piece.

Edging - Chiseled Ends or Sawn Ends, Squared Corners or Slightly Rounded Corners
